How do I make an appointment to see one of your physicians?

What are your clinic hours?

Our IBD specialist clinic hours are Mondays from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Wednesdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm, Thursdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

Where is the IBD Center located?

The IBD center is located at 675 N. St. Clair Street in Chicago Illinois.  We are part of the Northwestern Memorial Hospital campus, and located on the 17th floor of the Galter Pavilion.  For specific directions from airports or other parts of the city, click here.

What is Inflammatory Bowel Disease?

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is a broader term for chronic diseases of the digestive tract.  The two most common forms of IBD are Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, which affect approximately 1.4 million Americans.  Common symptoms include diarrhea, abdominal pain, blood in the stool, weight loss, and fever.  For more information on IBD, click here.

What research studies are you conducting at the IBD Center?

We are conducting several clinical research studies that you may be eligible to enroll in.  You may check our studies page to see if you qualify.  We are often updating our list of current studies so check back often.
